The library as a mediator, promoter and organizer in its own house
Culture Houses & Libraries in Aabenraa would like to promote sustainability and social initiatives through the dissemination of knowledge, events and activities that strengthen citizens’ engagement in the UN’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals. In 2024, the organization took the initiative to become SDG certified, which led them to ESG365 and the preparation of their first ESG report. The report provides a clear overview of efforts within resource consumption, employee well-being and management, as well as the organization’s work to create a more inclusive experience for citizens.
